PRIVATE AIRPORT TRANSFERS

No matter where you arrive in the Dominican Republic, we can pick you up at the airport and take you directly to your villa.

The advantage of having a private transfer is that you don’t have to wait for anyone else, and your transfer is door-to-door! You’re ready to go as soon as you and your luggage are on board!

It’s so easy, and with your pre-booked transfer, you won’t have to worry about taking a taxi and possibly negotiating the price with a driver who most likely doesn’t speak English. We work with the most trusted and respectable transportation companies and can provide minivans, luxury cars, and buses that take up to 59 persons.

Vehicles:

Standard minivans (Hyundai H1, Toyota or similar)
Standard buses (Mercedes Sprinter, Toyota, or similar)
Standard buses (Coach buses for large groups)
Luxury SUVs (Cadillac Escalade or similar)

All vehicles are air-conditioned. For transfers in a standard vehicle, it is not possible to book a specific type of vehicle. We will provide a vehicle suitable for your group size & amount of luggage.

Arrival transfer:

We’ll monitor your flight’s arrival time to check for any delays. Please let us know if you miss a connecting flight to the Dominican Republic or in case your flight is delayed or canceled.

Once you exit the airport with your luggage, you should look for a driver holding a sign with your name. Welcome signs can be customized, so if you’re traveling with a group, we can also put the name and logo on the sign. Just let us know ahead of time.

Driving time:

Driving distances and times vary, depending on which airport you’re arriving at and where you’re going. From Punta Cana International Airport to our villas in Punta Cana and Bavaro, your estimated time of arrival to the villa will be within 30 minutes of leaving the airport.

If you’re staying in any of our villas located in Puntacana Resort & Club or Cap Cana, you’re just a short 10-minute drive away.

Departure transfer:

On your departure day, we recommend arriving at the airport no later than 2 hours before your flight departure (preferably 2 hours and 30 minutes). Your driver will pick you up at the villa and take you directly to the airport.

To arrange your private transfers, please send us your arrival and departure flight information (flight name and number) to schedule your transportation and add it to your invoice.

Payment:

Transfers should be paid before your arrival/departure. PLEASE DO NOT PAY TO THE DRIVER!

Any payments made directly to the driver are considered a gratuity and are not payments for the actual service (unless specifically agreed upon with your villa coordinator or villa manager).
